Stacy Stafford has a USU extension agent coming to demonstrate the proper way to prune fruit trees and shade trees. He'll prune Stacy's backyard trees during the demonstration. Anyone is welcome to come and learn.

Trees allowed to grow wrong with steep crotches are weak and may split when they're older. Fruit trees bear lesser quality fruit unless they're pruned. These agents are in high demand. Stacy has been in contact with him since last fall and this is the first his schedule allowed him to come to Gunnison. He'd like a class of 20 people.
