Here are just a few things from a very wonderful devotional for us sisters tonight. There were some WONDERFUL speakers, Sister Buchanan is always so much fun to listen to and her Daughter did just phenomenal. President Christensen did a great job too, very short and very much to the point. Thank you all so much it was just absolutely PERFECT!
~Visiting Teaching brings the love of the LORD to each home you visit.
~Visiting Teaching is the heart and soul of the Relief Society.
~You are called as a visiting teacher to represent the Savior....(how neat is that?)
~Visiting teaching=Friendship
~Visiting teachers should never judge, just love.
~You may not be able to heal your sisters wounds, but you can help them carry their burdens~president Christensen
~Heavenly Father NEEDS you to make time for His work.
This really was very inspirational, wish you could of all been there. Please remember how much we think of each of you, and how important the calling of Visiting teaching is. As was mentioned in the devotional...this is a calling we get for life, it is something that only Women can do, and it is something that every woman needs. Everyone wants to feel important, and loved. Please remember your sisters in your prayers and try to reach out to them. It could turn into a wonderful friendship :)
